Week One Provence - Day 1

Bonjour!!! We pick you up this afternoon  at Avignon TGV station and travel to our beautiful accommodation at Mas de Curebourg.

Provence - Day 4

It is a quieter day today. We visit the abbey at Senanque and its lavender fields.

After lunch at Gordes you can spend the afternoon at home by the pool or do some shopping in our local village of L'isle sur la Sorgue.

Provence - Day 7

We leave for the Southwest today via Carcassone for lunch and will arrive at our beautiful accommodation Chateau Argentonesse at around 5pm.

Southwest - Day 3

This morning we visit the lovely old Town of Bergerac with its beautiful gardens .
After lunch we drive to Monbazillac for a visit to the Chateau and a tasting of the sweet wine they produce there.

Southwest - Day 6

We travel to St Emilion for lunch and on to  Bordeaux, for the night.

Provence - Day 2

Today we visit Nimes and its Roman arena. After lunch we drive to the amazing Pont du Gard.

Provence - Day 5

Today we visit Les Baux, it's pretty village and historic fortress. After lunch we walk down the hill to the Carrières Lumières, an old quarry that has been transformed  into an illuminated art show.

 Southwest - Day 1

A short drive today to Marqueyssac to walk around the fabulous  box hedge gardens and admire the amazing  views. After lunch we will go for a ride in a gabarre, a replica trading boat, down the Dordogne river.

Southwest - Day 4

Today is your rest day. Enjoy lunch at the Chateau where you are staying and relax in its surrounds.

Southwest - Day 7

We drop you off at Bordeaux train station or airport at 9am.

Provence - Day 3

It is market day today at St Remy, one of the best in Provence. After lunch we will head to the Sanitorium St Paul where Vincent Van Gogh spent some months resting and painting.

 Provence - Day 6

We head to Marseilles today for a drive around its coastline. We then travel to Cassis, a beautiful coastal village, for lunch and perhaps a swim in the Mediterranean?

Southwest - Day 2

It is cave day today and we will visit the famous Lascaux with its 20,000 year old cave  paintings. After lunch we will drive to Proumeyssac to view the 'Crystal Cathedral'.

Southwest - Day 5

We head to the incredible cliffside village of Rocamadour for lunch and a walk around the cobbled streets.
